Mahamuni Buddhist Society Of Cairns is a organization in Cairns, Australia and the objective are as follows;
1. The good of many, the peaceful way of life of many, in compassion for all living beings in the world and Australia society.
2. Encouraging faith in Buddha’s way for those who have not practiced and to increase the confidence and devotion of already faithful.
3. Developing purity, calmness and clarity in the mind of the people.
4.To provide facilities for the training and education of lay persons desirous of leading good wholesome lives.
5.To promote mental and physical health of everyone through the practice of virtues and meditation.
6.To promote art and culture in keeping with the aforesaid objective.
7. To promote abstinence from intoxicating recreational drugs and drinks.
